Skat is an expedition yacht in the true sense: 8,000 nautical miles of range, helicopter capability, a hospital-grade gym and storage for submersibles, ribs and shore kit. Lofoten in June, the Northwest Passage in August, Antarctica in January — her logbook reads like an atlas.

Inside, the mood is a gentleman's club at sea: dark timber, brass and leather, seven generous cabins and a bridge-deck observatory made for long polar evenings. Expeditions are planned with our in-house expedition leader, permits and guides included.
